Six Word Fantasy Stories

Here are some fantasy six word stories that play with genre cliches:

The dragon surrendered the treasure willingly.

The elf’s last arrow flew false.

The dwarf sorely needed his axe.

  1. More possibilities! Which one do you think would best become a novel?

  2. Probably the first one, though any of them could. However, these seem more like condensed short stories, while some of my other six word stories have obvious novel potential.

  3. My favorite's probably the middle one. But, I like elves, so...

  4. Oh, I LOVE subverting cliches! I like the second one best - I see a very psychological story coming from that one.

Are you ever going to turn some of your six-word stories into full-fledged short stories?

  5. Thanks, Joel and Kat!

It's possible that I may try expanding a six word story into a short story, or maybe even a novel.
